Kitchen Table Lingo logoKitchen Table Lingo (out now!)

Winchester Discovery Centre
Monday 3 November, 4pm – 6pm
It's hot off the press and we're getting positively squippy (hyper) about Kitchen Table Lingo, a book devoted to the amazing words that families and friends are inventing up and down the country (such as ‘snart’ – that gristly bit of meat that gets left on the side of the plate, or ‘floordrobe’ – the place where teenagers store their clothes). Join us at the Discovery Centre to celebrate the launch of this unputdownable new publication.
Kitchen Table Lingo is available on Amazon, where you can buy a copy.  The title is published by The English Project, a charity devoted to exploring the unfolding stories of the English language. Find more information on www.englishproject.org

Free A drop in event, all welcome.
